Katniss, 6 channel sound installation, plaster, Meadowsweet Palisade installation, Chapter Arts Centre. Named after Thalia Tamari’s cat, Katniss is an ode to my friend who died in 2023. The sound installation is comprised of songs  taken from a series of radio shows going through playlists she had left. The playlists covered various topics, self harm, mentally fucked up beats, trans tunez, kitty cats. It includes a new recording of Is My Team Ploughing, a call and response poem between the living and his friend buried beneath the ground. You can listen to the full radio shows here

The songs are mixed through recordings of the ocean at Ynys Las (where the wallpaper image photograph was taken) and recordings of the inside of seashells.
